RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Jewelry that is dropped shipped from our supplier, or shipped directly to
the customer by Gemtree Creative Designs, can be returned within 14
days of purchase for refund only. All items must be returned in their original
packaging. All jewelry must be returned unworn, undamaged, and in sellable condition.
Any jewelry, such as Roman Glass jewelry, that has a certificate of authenticity
must be returned with the certificate of authenticity. Any free gifts that were
shipped with the purchase must also be returned with the item being returned
for refund. If the free gift is not returned with the item we will reserve the
right to not accept the entire return. Any jewelry or other return items that
do not meet these return specifications will be returned to the buyer at the
buyer's expense and no refund will be given. There are no exceptions to this
policy other than a buyer's receipt of an item with a manufacturing defect.
FOR ALL RETURNS: You must contact Gemtree Creative Designs by email
or by phone (at (520) 308-4761) to request a RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA)
number. If claiming a manufacturing defect you must request a DEFECT RMA number.
Any returns received without an RMA number, or a defect RMA number, will be
sent back to the buyer at their expense and no refund will be given. The client
is responsible for returning the item(s) pre-paid and insured
to the PO Box address listed at the bottom of this page. Credit card purchases
and PayPal purchases will be refunded against the credit card or account used
for the original purchase. We reserve the right to not accept a return. All
items are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless the return is due to a manufacturers
defect or shipping damage (see our Shipping Policy for details). The restocking
fee will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping
and handling that you paid on the order. Please allow 10-14 days after we receive
your return for credit to be processed. Please note it may take 1-2 billing
cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.
- We inspect all returned items when they arrive.
- The item must be returned in its original condition, unworn and unaltered
in any way.
- The original Invoice and the correct Return Authorization Number must
accompany the returned item.
- Non-insured packages will be returned to sender.
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to
the same card.
- Items that have been worn by the client, or damaged by the client, cannot

- If you received a free gift with your order, you must also return the
free gift or you may not receive a refund.
- If you received a certificate of authenticity with your order, you must
also return it or you will not receive a refund.
- We reserve the right to not accept a return.
- All returns for refund must be in sellable condition or you will not
receive a refund
Our policies are firm to avoid loss and to keep our retail prices low. They
are not intended to limit your rights as a customer. Our goal is to give you
the best products and service available. If there's a problem with your order
we're happy to work with you to ensure your shopping experience with us is positive.
EXCHANGING A PRODUCT WITH DEFECTS
Items we ship that arrive without damage, but appear defective on buyer examination,
will after their return to Gemtree Creative Designs and subsequent inspection
that validates the claim of defect, be eligable for; 1) a full refund of the
puchase and shipping costs, or 2) exchange and delivery of a duplicate item
at no additional cost to the buyer. When you select to exchange a defective
item we will (if the item is available); 1) ship the replacement to you at no
cost, and 2) give you a credit that's equal to your cost of shipping the defective
item back to us. For example, we'll give you a $10.00 credit in the form of
a coupon code if it cost you $10.00 to insure and ship the defective item. The
coupon code that we send you can be used on any item, at anytime. Just type
in the code during checkout. If a duplicate item is not availble we will provide
a refund (including shipping costs), and we'll send you a shipping credit coupon
code as previously described.
RETURNS ON CUSTOM ORDERS (JEWELRY MADE AND DESIGNED AT THE BUYERS REQUEST)
We take great pride in the custom designed silver jewelry made here at Gemtree
Creative Designs. Any of our custom jewelry that is not personalized with initials,
names, or other unique characteristics is returnable within 90 days
of purchase for refund minus a restock fee if the item; 1) is returned in the
original packaging, and 2) the item is returned unworn, undamaged,
and in sellable condition with its original jewelry box (also undamaged) . Personalized
custom jewelry can not be returned for refund. A restock fee will be assessed
equal to the cost of the materials that were used to make the item. Materials
are components such as silver, gold, and stones that have been purchased or
taken from inventory and used in the construction of the custom jewelry piece,
the combined materials will be used to assess the restocking fee. Precious metals
in the piece will be assessed by weight at the metals' currently published spot
price, and any stone(s) in the piece will be assessed at their current market
value. All returns covered under this policy require a CUSTOM RMA number. Contact

a CUSTOM RMA number anytime prior to the 90 day expiration period. All returns
on custom designed pieces require this number, any custom ordered items that
are returned to us without a CUSTOM RMA number will be returned to the buyer
at their expense and no refund will be given.
REPAIR OF DEFECTS ON CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom ordered items that arrive without shipping damage, but appear defective
on buyer examination, will after their return to Gemtree Creative Designs and
subsequent inspection that validates the buyer's claim of defect, be eligable
for repair and shipment back to the buyer at no charge. The policy in the above
paragraph, "RETURNS ON CUSTOM ORDERS (JEWELRY MADE AND DESIGNED AT THE
BUYERS REQUEST)", will apply to the return if the buyer wants a refund
instead of a repair.
